Professional Experience
Founder and CEO | Nickel & Rose Labs | 2023 to present
Early-stage research and development studio developing consumer products, software tools, experiential training systems, and service-based operating models grounded in behavioral science and management strategy.
- Lead the end-to-end development and strategic direction of multiple early-stage ventures across automated home maintenance systems, behavior-based learning programs, experiential content brands, and wellness and design frameworks. Build product roadmaps, operational models, customer experience systems, and go-to-market strategies.
- Govern a multi-venture product portfolio through a documented stage-gate framework. Portfolio selection determines which concepts receive development commitment, and defined gate criteria advance products from idea into active development, with each asset also tracked on a lifecycle scale from idea through MVP, pilot, and launch. The portfolio currently spans early concepts through MVP development, including published how-to content for an automotive accessory line.
- Architect and direct an agent-orchestrated operating system that runs the studio: specialist role contracts, work routing, an approval chain in which no role self-clears, security review gates, and a default-deny data-egress model. Specify and operate 20-plus production tools that generate the studio's registers, build its public sites, run recurring market checks, and enforce those gates. Implementation is AI-built to Jordan's specification and under his review; he did not write the code, and the architecture, governance model, and operation are his.
- Apply management science, behavioral research, and systems design to improve product usability, customer engagement, communication workflows, and service delivery. Provide consulting to small businesses seeking structured systemization, operations optimization, and behavior-informed communication strategies.
